Grindstone is a puzzle-battler game from Capybara Games that will see you attempt to clear a mountain that's been overrun by creeps. It'll be available as soon as Apple Arcade arrives today, or now if you're in the iOS 13 beta.

On the surface, Grindstone looks like a fairly simple colour-matching puzzle game. There are various beasties on-screen of varying, distinctive colours and you'd assume that it's just a case of matching them together to rid the world of them.

But the developers say that it'll have much deeper strategy than it first appears and warns players not to think it'll be a smooth ride based on the quirky, colourful art style. You'll find yourself in turn-based puzzle battles against Creeps as well as bosses. One of which – a big plant-like fella - can be seen in the trailer below.

 Last Hope Sniper - Zombie War: Shooting Games FPS (Unlimited Money)
For those of you who enjoyed Splatoon 2's Global Testfire, there's good news! ARMS is also receiving its very own Global Testpunch (ahoy-hoy), and it's starting this Friday.

If you know about the Switch, you'll know about another of Nintendo's flagship titles, ARMS. Arriving on June 16th, ARMS is a PvP fighting game which lets you control your fighters by using the detached Joy-Cons like boxing gloves. You'll have your choice of exciting characters and will be able to interchange the gloves to suit your preferred play style.

Onto the exciting part. The times for the Global Testpunch are as follows:
May 27th01:00 BST13:00 BST19:00 BSTMay 28th01:00 BST13:00 BST19:00 BSTJune 3rd01:00 BST13:00 BST19:00 BSTJune 4th01:00 BST13:00 BST19:00 BST
It's slightly easier to remember than Splatoon 2's mismatchy time scale. If you fancy joining in, grab your Switch, log into the eShop, and download the Testpunch for free.

Retro fans, Le Parker Sous Chef Extraordinaire is everything you could want in a gorgeous package.

Concentrating on the platforming and making it really solid was Play Pretend's main goal and it shows in the game's first trailer:

 &#;And now she would the caged cloister fly.

 Updated 27th October, 09:13 AM: Without too long of a wait you can now get The Lost Shield on iOS and bask in its nostalgic, retro glory.
Grab the game here on the App Store for £1.49/$1.99 and go make history with your magic balls...and then go save the world.The Lost Shield is the type of retro we've been missing. The Game Boy-style retro, before Game Boy Colour came out, this happy, little game looks like something plucked right out of the early 90s…and we love it.

This brick break/adventure game is one for the ages as you play as a hero on a deadly quest to return a magical shield back to where it belongs. Rescue followers as you traverse the perilous world and add them to your party. You must also pay close attention to your powerful balls, upgrading them when you get the opportunity to help you in the many battles you'll face.

With six arenas, 54 stages, 20+ enemy types, 20 achievements to unlocks, and six epic bosses to defeat, The Lost Shield tastes an awful lot like nostalgia. You can also unlock arcade mode and challenge other players from around the world with a clear 'my balls are bigger than your balls' taunt.The Lost Shield will be in our laps on the 27th October (I assume for iOS) and will be a mere £1.49/$1.99.

 &#;
The long-rumoured crossover, Rabbids + Mario Kingdom Battle, has been confirmed and will be coming to the Switch later this year.

Whilst things are still pretty hush-hush, Kotaku revealed earlier today that they'd been sent art assets from the company, but were asked not to share them. The same sources also confirmed that the game was a go and is hoping to come to the Switch in August/September.

Laura Kate Dale was also on point with this one as she reported the crossover back in January. But, ultimately not much is known about the game as of yet. Apparently it'll have turn-based combat, have its expected goofy humour, and have local player co-op, though none of this has been concretely confirmed.

It'll be interesting to see where this odd pairing will go or whether it'll even go together. This could be a pineapple on pizza-type incident, but we'll have to wait and see.

Despite its peaceful, minimalist look, Shades promises some "devilishly challenging" puzzles, inspired by Tetris, but still very much its own game.

You can download it for the temporary discount price of just 69p / 99c on the App Store.

The goal of Shades is to stack blocks of color to form new shades of that color, and combine rows of the same shade to clear them out.

You do this by guiding falling blocks of color with simple swipes, finding the right column to drop them into, or letting them fall into place on their own.

If you don't act quick to combine the right colors, you'll soon find yourself with a checkered grid of mismatched shades.

Watch the gameplay trailer below for a better look, or buy Shades for yourself on the App Store.

 &#;
After a very brief announcement period, Fire Emblem: Heroes is now out in select territories on iOS and Android.

As Nintendo's second title in the mobile world, the strategy RPG Fire Emblem: Heroes pits you against enemies in turn-based combat - and all in the palm of your hand. Use your summoner's powers, call upon the five legendary heroes, and battle to save the Kingdom of Askr.

Unlike Nintendo's mobile entry, Super Mario Run, Heroes is free-to-play and contains a number of IAPs in order to keep the game funded. Whether Nintendo fans will respond more positively or more negatively to this scheme, as opposed to paying for the game after a taster, remains to be seen.

Apparently Heroes' release today is a scattered affair, so far reaching out to the likes of New Zealand, Japan, Australia, the UK, France, and a few other European countries. We'll let you know when it pushes out further, though feel free to comment below if it's out in your country.

Like I said, it's free-to-play so give it a go if you fancy. Grab the game on the App Store or on Google Play now.

HBO's unfathomably huge fantasy series Game of Thrones has seen plenty of mobile game adaptations over the years, and the upcoming Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall looks to be one of the best yet. This one's a strategy RPG of sorts that sees you collecting and upgrading some of the show's most beloved characters, including Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen.

It's headed our way from publishers GAEA Mobile, who you might know know from Heroes of Camelot and Ace of Arenas, and Behaviour Interactive. Behaviour Interactive in particular has a very eclectic mix of games under its belt, including Assassin's Creed Rebellion and Dead by Daylight – both titles that successfully dabble in pre-existing franchises – so it'll be interesting to see what it can do with the Game of Thrones license.

 Fair weather friends are not worth much."You are entirely and wholeheartedly welcome to the loan of any book on them."

 The essential thing in any game is its gameplay and storyline. Fortunately, Farm City offers epic gameplay and storyline where you can grow various crops, sell products across the globe through different belts, including sea routes, and use the proceeds to develop a healthy community on the island. Only very few people are wealthy enough to have their islands. Still, the Farm-City game offers a pleasurable experience for everybody where you can buy your island and be the most influential person on that island.
