<p>Google held its first ever Google Play Awards yesterday during Google I/O and among the winners are a few games.</p><p>Unsurprisingly, the massively popular Clash Royale took home the Best Game award, while Alphabear won the Standout Indie award.</p><p>Table Tennis Touch got rewarded for its use of Google's Play services and Pokemon Shuffle got awarded with the Go Global award. Whatever that means.</p><p>Isn't it weird to choose the winner from "2016" when the year isn't over yet? I understand the idea but the name of the celebration is a bit weird. Interactive Entertainment have just announced that they're working together on an all-new Lord of the Rings game.</p><p>The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is a strategy game specifically designed for mobile. It's aiming to offer a "visually stunning and completely faithful rendition" of Tolkien's fantasy world, fit with well-known characters and locations from across the original trilogy.</p><p>The announcement was first spotted and shared by Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad.
